- Responsible for creating a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth of every student; establish effective rapport with students; provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth.
- Special Requirements:
- 1. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements in student learning styles.
- 2. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
- 3. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
- 4. Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
- 5. Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned - Sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal.
- 6. Create classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of students.
- 7. Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents and community members.
- 8. Compile, maintain and file all reports, records and other required documents.
- 9. Perform additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.
- Qualification Requirements:
- 1. Applicant must have Bachelors Degree
- 2. Two years minimum in teaching experience with elementary school students.
- 3. Note: for Kindergarten teachers a two year degree is accepted and/or a child development diploma is preferred.
