Founded in Bethlehem in 1953, Caritas Baby Hospital (CBH) is the only hospital in the West Bank specializing exclusively in pediatric medicine.
The hospital offers healthcare and psychosocial support for tens of thousands of babies and children annually, irrespective of their social background or religion.
CBH is a major employer in the Bethlehem area, with more than 250 registered staff. Since 1963, the hospital is being run and operated by the non-profit association Children’s Relief Bethlehem based in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Caritas Baby Hospital is looking for:
IT Network and System Administrator
Position Details:
- Maintain and manage computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Maintain and manage Active Directory, Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP and Exchange Server.
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance upgrades for different hardware and software.
- Maintain the Hospital Information System (HIS) servers and provide technical support for employees.
- Linux administration and maintenance.
- Maintain firewall’s policies and rules.
- Support and maintain MS SQL Database servers.
- Maintain proper job related documentation.
- Manage on-premises and cloud security for all systems, including firewalls, anti-virus protection, general network security, user access rights, and secure remote access.
- Good knowledge in programming languages including C++, Python, Java, PHP, JavaScript and .Net programming
- Implement database structure, design, backup and recovery.
- Demonstrate good ethics concerning confidentiality.

Position Requirements:
- BA (4-years) degree in Information Technology (IT).
- Good command in English language
- Microsoft, Cisco, UNIX, Oracle certifications are preferred.
- Experience with IT equipment.
- Experience in IT network design for LAN, WAN and WLAN networks.
- Experience in Internet security.
- Knowledge in Voice communication systems like IP telephone systems and Digital PBX.
- Ability to complete assigned or self-assigned tasks in a timely manner and with high quality.
- Programming skills in mobile applications.
- Great customer service skills.
- Passionate about IT developments and new IT trends.
- Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft, Oracle or UNIX.
- Preferable with 2 years’ system administration experience.
- Experience in programming languages is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and out-side of official working hours in case of emergencies.
- Preferable resident of Bethlehem district.
