Gaza Sky Geeks (GSG) is Gaza’s leading co-working space, tech education hub, and startup accelerator, run by Mercy Corps, a nonprofit international relief and development organization with programs in the occupied Palestinian territories since the 1980s. Mercy Corps founded GSG in partnership with Google.org in 2011. We bring together online freelancers, outsourcers, and startup founders together under one roof to share ideas, best practices, code, and build brighter futures through the power of the internet. Gaza Sky Geeks’ overarching goal is to build an internationally competitive technology ecosystem in Gaza through online freelancing, outsourcing, and startups.
Gaza Sky Geeks is looking for talented individuals to join their pool of instructors in the West Bank. Our goal is to upskill Palestinians in Tech-Skills to improve their employability using the newly gained skills.

غزة سكاي جيكس : تعتبر غزة سكاي جيكس هي أول حاضنة أعمال مركز تكنولوجي و مساحة عمل مشتركة في قطاع غزة يقوم بتحضير المطورين و رياديي الأعمال للمنافسة على مستوى عالمي. تم إطلاق المسرعة من قبل مؤسسة ميرسي كور وبدعم أولي من مؤسسة جوجل في عام 2011 ليقوم بربط العقول الموهوبة في فلسطين من خلال توفير المساحة والتدريب والتمويل والشبكات اللازمة من الموجهين والداعمين لخلق فرص عمل وتطوير ريادة الأعمال والمساهمة في دعم الابتكار في الاقتصاد الرقمي من خلال 3 برامج رئيسية : أكاديمية البرمجة و أكاديمية العمل الحر و برنامج تسريع المشاريع الريادية. مع بداية عام 2018 بدأت غزة سكاي جيكس بالتوسع في الضفة الغربية و تنفيذ برامجها.
غزة سكاي جيكس تبحث عن مدربين/ مدربات للانضمام إلى قاعدة المدربين التقنيين في الضفة الغربية. هدفنا الأساسي في غزة سكاي جيكس هو زيادة المهارات التقنية للشباب الفلسطيني لتحسين عملية توظيفهم وحصولهم على دخل أعلى.

نظام التدريب:
دوام جزئي - 9 ساعات أسبوعيًا.
المؤهلات الوظيفية المطلوبة وعوامل نجاح الطلب:
- شهادة جامعية في مجال علم الحاسوب أو هندسة الحاسوب وتكنولوجيا المعلومات أو أي مجال تقني مرتبط.
- خبرة سوق العمل تزيد عن سنتين في موضوع التدريب
- معرفة جيدة وحديثة حول أحدث التقنيات والتكنولوجيا المستخدمة في سوق العمل
- مهارات تواصل ولغة انجليزية جيدة في مجالي المحادثة والكتابة باللغتين العربية والانجليزية.
مهام التوظيف الأساسية:
- التحضيرات للبرنامج التدريبي: بعد التعاقد مع المدرب بشكل رسمي فإنه وبالتعاون مع فريق العمل يكون مطلوب من المدرب القيام بالمهام الآتية:
- تجهيز النسخة النهائية من الخطة التدريبية والمنهاج التدريبي والجدول التدريبي.
- المشاركة في عملية المقابلات لاختيار المشاركين المناسبين للتدريبات التقنية وفق معايير تقييم يتم تحديدها مستقبلًا.
- تطوير اختبارات تقنية سابقة ولاحقة للتدريب التقني كجزء من عملية المراقبة والتقييم للمشاركين.
- تقديم التدريب:
- عدد الساعات التدريبية المتوقعة لن يتجاوز 120 ساعة ( 9 ساعات أسبوعيًا موزعة على لقاء وجاهي طويل و لقائين الكترونيين قصيرين خلال الأسبوع)
- تقييم إجابات الاستبانات القبلية و البعدية وتزويد منسق البرنامج التدريبي بالعلامات التقييمية للطلبة والسجلات الأصلية للأسئلة والإجابات .
- العمل عن كثب مع مساعد التدريب لضمان التنفيذ الفعال للتدريب
- يجب على المدرب تزويد المتدربين بالموارد الرقمية والأدوات عبر الإنترنت للتعلم المستمر والتعلم الذاتي.
- تزويد فريق غزة سكاي جيكس بجميع المستندات الداعمة المتعلقة بالدورة عند الانتهاء من التدريب.
- الانضمام إلى الاجتماع التقييمي الأسبوعي مع فريق البرنامج لمتابعة امور التدريب.

Qualification and Success Factors:
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or any other related field.
- +2 years of work experience in the training field.
- Up-to-date knowledge of technical and IT industry developments.
- Strong communication and language skills, Spoken and written in both languages Arabic and English
As an Instructor. Your role is to develop and deliver an up-to-date curriculum that matches the industry needs, prepare tasks & assignments for trainees, collaborate with the training co-instructor and training coordinator to ensure a smooth running of the training, and track student progress & performance throughout the course.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Preparation for the course:- In cooperation with the program team and after awarding the contract, the Trainer is expected to
- Develop the last updated version for the detailed syllabus/training plan and training schedule.
- Be part of the Interview process for selecting the trainees best for the training, based on well-established criteria.
- Develop technical pre and post tests relevant to the course as part of the monitoring and evaluation process.
- Training Delivery:
- The expected training hours will not exceed 120 hours (9 hours per week divided between one long physical session during the weekend and 2 short online sessions)
- Prepare the pre-post-test then correct the responses and provide the program coordinator with the result sheet for the two tests.
- Deliver the Training according to the approved syllabus and methodology.
- Working closely with the co-trainer to ensure effective delivery of the training with joint and compatible efforts and teamwork as well.
- The Trainer should provide the trainees with digital resources and online tools for ongoing learning and self-learning.
- Maintain original records of the pre-and post-test questions and responses.
- Provide Gaza Sky Geeks team with all supporting documents related to the course upon the completion of training.
- Join the weekly updates meeting (10-15 minutes) with the program team to make sure the training runs smoothly and to address any raised issues by the team and the Trainer if any.
