Business Alliance : Accounting Manager

Business Alliance HR is recruiting an Accounting Manager for a big leading company in the Manufacturing and Trading Industry located in RamallahPalestine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all day-to-day accounting operations which include responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budgeting, etc.
  2. Maintain the general ledger, review and approve journal entries.
  3. Resolving accounting discrepancies.
  4. Manage the accounting department staff and provide oversight and guidance.
  5. Prepare the company’s financial statements and reports.
  6. Contribute to modifying financial management policies and procedures.
  7. Follow up with the internal and external auditors in issuing the financial statements and providing all audit requirements.
  8. Review the regulations on expenses, purchases, and other transactions.
  9. Review the accounts of the subsidiaries and make the required reconciliations.
  10. Follow up on the company's bank accounts in terms of banking facilities and obligations and review their registration.
  11. Review the fixed asset registration and monthly depreciation entries.
  12. Perform a monthly assessment of the foreign exchange differences in the company's accounts.
  13. Manage and monitor the inventory account.
  14. Review all matters of VAT, income tax, tax clearances, and monthly salary deductions and follow up with the relevant parties.
  15. Follow up on contracts and apply the accounting standards.
  16. Evaluate the investment portfolio and ensure its registration.
  17. Perform suppliers' account reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
  18. Liaise with other departments to facilitate the financial work.

متطلبات الوظيفة
Special Requirements & Skills: 
  1. Solid understanding of IFRS.
  2. Experience in a variety of financial compliance, policies, procedures, and closures (especially for public shareholding companies).
  3. Good understanding of costing/manufacturing.
  4. Hands-on knowledge in financial ERP systems.
  5. Knowledge of capital market authority laws.
  6. Superior leadership and management skills and experience; employee management.
  7. Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
  8. Understanding of data privacy standards; solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
Total Years of Experience:
8+ years of experience with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
 
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A master's degree or a professional certificate is a plus.
 
Location:
Ramallah, Palestine.

Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.
