Rabat - King Mohammed VI has instructed relevant Moroccan authorities to grant additional scholarships to Palestinian students enrolled at universities and higher institutes across Morocco.
The monarch, who chairs the Al Quds Committee, offered additional support grants for the benefit of Palestinian students affiliated with the scholarship program run by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation.
As part of this new royal scheme, Palestinian students enrolled in Moroccan institutions will benefit from a total of 100 additional scholarships.
The monarch ordered the scholarships to be made available immediately to the eligible beneficiaries.
Coming in the painful wake of Israel’s ongoing brutal and murderous campaign in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, the initiative is an extension of Morocco’s solidarity and support for the Palestinian cause.
