Business Alliance : Communications Manager

Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Communications Manager for a leading real estate company, located in Ramallah, Palestine. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Branding:

  1. Develop and implement creative marketing strategies and product branding development including tagline and slogan development designed to generate leads and drive sales.
  2. Formulate and write Arabic ad copy, PR copy, and general marketing copy.
  3. Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and client needs.
  5. Create and manage an active media contact list of local, regional, and international media platforms including both written and digital.

Content Development: 

  1. Create, manage and implement English & Arabic social media and website content, in addition to any other online or offline platforms. 
  2. Collaborate with the IT and marketing team to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.
  3. Work closely with graphic designers on the visual presentation of marketing products and assisting with new product launches.
  4. Maintain an inventory of available content, in Arabic and English, and ensure all materials accurately reflect the company's brand, product, and customers.
  5. Maintain an active program of field visits to project sites to ensure that images and videos are updated on a regular basis.
MEAL (Monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning) and analysis of results:
  1. Analyze digital metrics using Google Analytics and other platforms.
  2. Provide SEO analysis and recommendations about elements & structure of websites and web pages.
  3. Ensure accuracy & consistency of content with brand guidelines using SEO techniques.
  4. Responsible for all aspects of content development and upgrading it based on the customer engagement statistics provided by the marketing team.
  5. Collaborate with social media influencers to promote the company's products.

  1. Experienced in strategic marketing and communications branding, and product development of creative content including narrative and visuals. 
  2. Proven ability to identify strategic marketing opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results.
  3. Skilled in direct response marketing with the ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels, including website, printed communications, online communications, radio, and direct mail.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities to deliver results on time and under budget.
  5. Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and delegate.  
  6. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 
  7. Analytical mind and problem-solving skills, critical thinking. 
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  9. Excellent time management skills including multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  10. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  11. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  12. Excellent awareness of technology standards and emerging trends.
 
Total Years of Experience:
Minimum 5 years of related experience in marketing, content creation, or communication.
 
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
 
Location:
Ramallah, Palestine.

Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.

An-Najah National University Hospital (NNUH) is looking for a self-motivated and talented Communications Manager to lead NNUH’s communications function:

Communications Manager

The Communications Manager is responsible for managing the promotion of Al-Najah National University Hospital’s (NNUH) brand and services to the community, health sector, potential employees, and the media. The incumbent is responsible for the day to day running of the Marketing and Public Relations Functions. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a hospital marketing plan within budget and in congruence with overall NNUH strategy;
  • Ensure effective and timely branded marketing communications through NUUH website, social media, print communication, and advertising;
  • Develop and implement marketing plan and activities for physicians and services;
  • Manage (hands on) NUUH website and social media sites including designing postings and publishing them;
  • Assist hospital staff in preparing content for publishing; appropriate for different audiences;
  • Function as the webmaster for the NNUH website and the administrator for social media sites and respond - in timely fashion - to inquiries; as needed;
  • Manage planned public events from end to end in collaboration with key stakeholders;
  • Coordinate with external entities concerning joint events;
  • Manage the timely production and release of hospital news and media releases;
  • Liaise with community groups and other entities for public relations purposes (e.g., sponsoring site visits and participation in community events);
  • Oversee the development and publishing of the hospital’s annual report and any other hospital reports; as needed;
  • Ensuring effective and timely internal communications;
  • Liaise with hospital departments for the development of in-house marketing items such as booklets, posters, pamphlets…etc.;
  • Maintain high level of knowledge of Hospital’s services and activities;
  • Manage development and distribution of internal communications (e.g., newsletter) within hospital;
  • Maintain awareness of healthcare market activities and general healthcare updates;
  • Represent the section and the hospital in internal and external meetings from a marketing perspective;
  • Manage relationship with key stakeholders and vendors to plan and confirm support for on-going sponsorship of hospital activities;
  • Researching and evaluating new opportunities for the business, and customer needs and insights;;
  • Evaluate, on regular basis, the effectiveness of all marketing activities;
  • Issue on-going reports on all marketing and public relations activities to the CEO and hospital leadership;
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives;
  • Supervise staff assigned to the section;
  • Train staff on marketing and public relations topics;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experiences and Skills:

  •   Bachelor degree in marketing or related field; Master’s degree preferred;
  •   At least (5) years of hands-on marketing experience; preferably in a healthcare service sector;
  •   Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  •   Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  •   Knowledge of healthcare services and hospital environmentss.
  •   Experience managing entity website and social media accounts.
  •   Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •   Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, graphic design, website development and management and report writing.
  •   English language proficiency.
