The Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) is seeking qualified professional for the position of Internal Auditor at PIF Headquarter in Ramallah.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain an understanding of internal processes and procedures.
• Draft processes documentation and flow charts.
• Conduct testing procedures on a selected sample, based on the developed audit programs and draw conclusions.
• Ensure all work papers are properly documented and ready to be reviewed by the senior team member.
• Contribute to the process of identifying internal controls issues and weaknesses.
• Draft audit findings for the internal audit report.
• Conduct follow-up activities and update on the status of prior audit reports.
• Participate in recommending corrective measures and improvements on operations.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.
• Newly graduate and up to two years of relevant experience are accepted.
• CPA or CIA is a plus.
• Strong command of English both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability and mindset of working closely with team members and delivering quality work under tight schedule.

Responsibilities:

Perform audit assignments including risk and control management

Create, obtain, and evaluate planning documentations such as project budgets, data, and reports

Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans.

Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.

Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.

Maintain open communication with accounting management

Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of proven working experience as an Internal Auditor.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred especially in feed or flour mill entities.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Sound independent judgement.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Develop recommendations and formulate cost saving actions.
• Knowledge of accounting best practices.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, as well as excellent analysis and presentation skills.
• The Certified Internal Auditor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor include but not limited to:

• Proper adherence and application of internal audit policies and ethics.
• Maintain Knowledge of business, organizational, audit and regulatory policies to ensure audit integrity and process innovation service quality.
• Identify and report process improvements, value-added observations for audited units that help enhance operational effectiveness.
• Executing fieldwork in competent and professional manner by preparing audit programs and detailed audit working paper incorporating test schedules, and observations.
• Prepare audit reports as well as protective findings, related risks, causes plus recommendations for improvement in an efficient and timely concise manner.
• Conduct follow-up activities to make sure audit findings and resolved.
• Review, evaluate and recommend updates to procedures, policies and systems of internal control and verify compliance of the same.
• Execute appropriate use of electronic working papers, audit tools and sources of knowledge.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of Accounting principles, practices, techniques, and theories of financial reporting.
• Knowledge of internal controls; auditing standards, practices, and techniques.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• B.A or equivalent degree in accounting or a closely related field. 
• Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public Accountant is a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an internal audit role.
• Decent communication skills
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Proficiency in English language.
