We have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Translator/Editor/Copywriter to work within our Content team in Dubai, The role is a full-time job with all the work done remotely making it a perfect fit for candidates anywhere around the globe.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is a strong English writer who can clearly understand the Arabic text and turn it into a clear, mistakes-free English copy.
Responsibilities include:
- Translate a variety of material from Arabic into English and vice versa.
- Maintaining a clear and up to date knowledge of the local/regional media landscape
- Understanding the content needs of clients
- Creating, editing, and delivering press releases, and other PR collateral as well as speeches and articles for publication in English
- Ensuring the quality of all content is maintained to the highest standard
- Proofread already translated content
- Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs
متطلبات الوظيفة
ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Native speaker of English
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic
- Time-management skills
- A degree in translation (or language-related subject) or 8 years of experience as a translator
- Experience in both public relations and technical translation
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills written and verbally
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization and time management skills, strong attention to detail
Working hours
Working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm. UAE Timing.
