Job Scope:
The treasury back office operator is responsible for managing the investment accounts of the Monetary Authority and executing cash and capital operations for treasury operations in the Monetary Authority with the aim of providing effective and efficient support for them in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
Do all accounting operations, and review the balance sheet, related to the Monetary Authority investments accounts, in addition to work on swift system as creator for the messages in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and auditing investment operations, reserves, cash transfer operations and the associated accounting registration on the various systems to ensure that the Monetary Authority's investment operations with banks, financial institutions and government agencies are carried out in accordance with the approved instructions and within the specified dates and correctly.
- Review and audit reports of matching the daily and monthly balances of all investment accounts in the Monetary Authority.
- Checking the daily accounting entries for the Monetary Authority's investments in term deposits and Islamic investments linked to local and foreign banks and those linked to banks with the Monetary Authority.
- Creation of Swift messages that enhance the investments of the Monetary Authority of all kinds.
- Creation of Swift messages for outgoing transfers to bank accounts with their correspondents.
- Verifying all operations on all systems used by debiting or crediting to bank accounts.
- Auditing statements, accounting entries, placements, periodic and monthly accrual of debit and credit interests for Islamic deposits and investments.
- Auditing the Monetary Authority's investment and interest statements in both primary and secondary security holdings, and checking the purchase and liquidation operations restrictions related to the periodic revenues resulting from them.
- Reviewing the differences in the results of the monthly compulsory reserve for banks operating in Palestine in order to update the monthly compulsory reserve balances available in the bank accounts in accordance with the instructions of the Banking Control Department.
- Assisting the head of the division in analyzing investment statements, mandatory reserve investments, securities, accounts receivable, and all technical statements for the purposes of monitoring and evaluating liquidity and making recommendations.
- Reviewing and updating all investment statements and records for the purposes of following up on investments and their maturities and on the dates specified for them.
- Review and audit the accounting journal of the unit's operations in order to ensure the safety of the unit's final operations and impact on the accounting.
Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head of division.
Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.
Practical Experience: At least 2 years professional experience in accounting.

▪ Good knowledge in accounting entries/registration.
▪ Good skills in reviewing and conforming the balance sheet.
▪ Ability to create financial reports
▪ Good knowledge in finance systems and the ability to understand the investment cycle.
▪ Good knowledge in IFRS 9 and other accounting standards
▪ Knowledge in swift system and swift message format is plus
Languages Fluency in both English and Arabic (verbal & written)
Personal Skills:
▪ Ability to work on the related software systems
▪ Good knowledge in closing accounting periods.
▪ Ability to Learn and apply knowledge
▪ Provide adequate opinions and initiatives to expand the PMA operations
